well if I can make 400 on a gt2871 with that engine when it was in my car 400 with a hx35 should be no problem. I know she can handle atleast 450 no problem cus we already made that with the nos last year.
sorry for the lack of updates lately for anyone who's actually following this. been running into some timing issues and some other stuff.. update as of within the last 4 hours. good news first. picked up a kaaz 2 way. super stoked. thats going in tomorrow afternoon probably. now the bad news.. spun a bearing..not to sure why yet. oil pan was nice and sparkley though. number 2 i believe was right fucked. should know more of whats going to happen sometime tomorrow when tanner goes to the machine shop that built the motor..
ya man, im fairly bummed. im not even sure if im going to be able to drive this thing on the streets this summer i cant find someone who that will pass the insurance inspection form. i ripped apart the motor last week and ordered new rods, they came in friday afternoon and tanner and i brougnt the block to the machine shop friday shortly after the rods showed up. hoping to get the block back within the next 2 week, then tanner and i are going to put it together. in the mean time. tanner had a fresh stock rebuilt ka that we put into my car. sadly it blew a ring we believe on the dyno. it made 320@ 11 psi iicr. i have a pic of the dyno sheet somewhere. now its just a waiting game for the block.
I might know someone who can pass it, and I've got a ka sitting in my garage I'll sell you for 300, if I can do a compression test on it I'll let you know.
^thanks but no thanks haha. id just rip it apart and put forged intertnals in it like i did to the first one and this third one. anyways, here's some pics that i found. all within the last month or so. heresthe dyno graph for the second motor. stock rebuilt bottom end, built head with BC 272's before she go boom
